Purple Light Nights and Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Join NUHSA as we Shine a Light and Save a Life!
NUHSA is supporting Purple Lights Across North King County with the Purple Light Nights Campaign.
This campaign raises awareness of domestic violence in our communities, honors those who have lost their lives and supports survivors and those still living with abuse.
Join communities around during October's Domestic Violence Awareness Month to participate by wearing purple, turning on a purple light, or coordinating with a group to sponsor a walk or community event to raise awareness.
NUHSA has partnered with our North King County Cities to sponsor proclamations honoring Domestic Violence Awareness Month and encourages our members to record and share a short video of support.
Check out some videos here.
We are also highlighting local resources to support those experiencing domestic violence at our October Community Partner Meeting.
